Business Result
Learner adoption attributed to a complete implementation process, and the exceptional customer support
A fencing company with 500+ employees and an annual revenue of $125 million, used a very manual, paper-based training process compromised of in-classroom training. Their challenges included excessive amounts of admin and trainer time spent in the classroom and on documenting attendees and notes. The processes were taxing and not sustainable. The company was positioned to grow and adding more team members would certainly break an already overburdened team.
HR and IT directors appointed a representative from the company to seek out an LMS. She conducted a learning needs assessment across four functional units and found their needs aligned. They were looking for an LMS that would allow the company to create and upload its content, complete mandatory compliance training, offer interactive learning experiences, and support talent retention.
The company used the services of Software Advice, a Gartner property, to identify a short list of vendors, including Docebo, Tabuti, 365 Learning, and Kallidus. Kallidus was ultimately chosen as the company’s LMS provider. For the sake of this case study, we have documented the phases of those interactions to help others in the construction space understand the steps involved with discovering, choosing, and implementing an LMS.

The company chose Kallidus as its learning management system provider for the following reasons:

Compliance training is our bread-and-butter. See how we do it.
The company anticipates that its partnership with Kallidus will help them organize their training in one central location, making it easier for employees to access eLearning, videos, and documents. They also expect tracking team member training to be easier, which is essential for compliance reasons. Overall, they are looking to reduce admin time, increase engagement with training, and create a better user experience with auto-assigned courses and more engaging content.
The company has recently launched Learn LMS to their team members and has publicly commented in a G2 review regarding the system’s ease of use, the complete implementation process, and the exceptional customer support they have received from Kallidus.
Both from user and administrator perspectives, the software offers the functionality that we were looking for as a company of almost 600 employees. Implementation has been simple with few issues. Users in this very early stage of our implementation find it easy to use. This is our company’s first LMS and integration has been fairly simple. Our Account Executive, Patrick Downs, and Service Consult, Adam Wright were excellent to work and very helpful!
