Baxters Food Group, the Edinburgh food processing company famous for a range of soups, condiments and licensed brands, has joined forces with Kallidus to create a learning culture to grow and develop their employees.
Baxters’ learning and development strategy previously existed predominantly in classroom training settings with manual operational processes; Baxters were keen to find a solution that created consistency across all programmes and sites and enhanced employee experience.
Empowering employees with engaging and easy to use upskilling solutions was a key requirement for Baxters Food Group. Baxters chose Kallidus for their ready-to-go learning courses and the ability to provide employees with 1:1 digital feedback, citing also the opportunity to scale with business growth and the unique interconnectivity between Kallidus Learn and Kallidus Perform as major strengths. Where Baxters’ employees are incredibly diverse, the simplicity and consistent end-user experience provided by Kallidus was another major draw.
Rachel Gothard, HR Business Partner of Baxters Food Group, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Kallidus, who are enabling us to streamline the induction process, develop staff capability and bring consistency across our various sites. We are impressed with how much Kallidus has hit the mark with our engaging learning and performance management software and the onboarding process. We have received excellent communication and customer service from start to finish, and our relationship with Kallidus has gone from strength to strength.”
Kallidus has won over 40 industry awards for its learning platform and digital learning content, including Learning Platform of the Year and External Learning Solution of the Year. Baxters Food Group focused on the importance of upskilling their employees, specifically providing the opportunity to strengthen their line manager’s leadership skills. Baxter’s new learning and performing suite will enable employees to improve their management skills, track their progression, and promote leadership development.
Joe Thomas, New Business Manager, of Kallidus, added: “We are delighted to build a relationship with Baxters Food Group and provide them with industry-leading learning and development solutions. Providing a learning experience and performance management that allows them to scale and keep the employee experience simple and consistent were our key drivers. With both Kallidus and Baxters recently making acquisitions, we are excited to be on an upward trajectory with increased growth and being culturally aligned as long-term partners.”
