Kallidus shines the spotlight on user-generated content at LT Summer Forum

Cirencester, 31, May 2017: Award winning learning and talent solutions provider Kallidus will be putting user-generated content (UGC) and its role in today’s modern learning strategies under the microscope at Learning Technologies Summer Forum.

Tim Drewitt, a renowned industry expert and Product Innovator at Kallidus, will be presenting a free seminar titled “User-generated content: The ultimate springboard to collaborative learning or just the latest craze?” at 11.45 – 12.15, Theatre 2, Olympia exhibition hall on 13 June 2017.

UGC is one of the learning industry’s latest buzzwords, but will it really take off in L&D and with learners? Kallidus has conducted a survey to find out L&D professionals’ aspirations and experiences of incorporating UGC into their learning strategies. Tim will be sharing the results of the survey in his seminar and will also be providing key insights into:

  • What UGC is and how it fits into your L&D strategy
  • How UGC content is being used and who is creating it
  • The benefits of using UGC and how it’s being measured
  • What challenges UGC is posing and how these might be overcome
  • The role of technology in supporting UGC

Tim Drewitt, Kallidus Product Innovator said: “Sometimes it can be hard to decide which exciting emerging learning solutions are going to add real value to L&D and which are just hype. In my seminar, I’m looking forward to guiding attendees through the practicalities, benefits and results that can be achieved from using engaging UGC as part of the modern learning mix.”

There is still an opportunity for anybody working in L&D and for the broader learning community to have their say in the Kallidus Survey along with a chance to win a GoPro HERO Session™ for creating and sharing video learning content. The survey closes on Friday 2nd June.

Philip Pyle, Head of Sales and Marketing at Kallidus said: “The LT Summer Forum is a great platform for discussing learning innovation and we’re excited to be focusing on the power of UGC and its role in social and collaborative learning and engaging the modern learner, at this year’s show.”

Kallidus will be showing its next-generation learning platform Kallidus Learn, their prototype for user generated content, its innovative performance and talent solutions as well as its immersive bespoke e-learning content and best-in-class curated e-learning content packages at stand 1.
